This aerial photo series explores the salt marshes of Camargue, a unique South of France landscape where raw nature, human labor, and striking aesthetics converge.
By rising above this land shaped by human hands, I sought to reveal the abstract beauty of these functional landscapes, often invisible from the ground.
Through drawn lines, geometric basins, and striking colour contrasts, a poetic map of salt emerges -each basin a living canvas.
This project stems from a deep fascination with the interplay between human activity and natural elements. Salt, both essential and ancestral, is harvested here using traditional methods.
It is also a tribute to those who work the land: salt workers, engineers, landscape artisans– guardians of a fragile balance between economy, ecology, and heritage.
This body of work offer both an artistic perspective and a visual testimony to the discreet beauty of human intervention in nature- when carried out with care, respect, and craftsmanship.

Chromatic triangulations

Salty geometry

Crystal

Alchemy

Fragments

Saturation
