On February 24, 2022, life in Ukraine changed completely. Millions of people flee the war to the west. Those who remained were hiding in bomb shelters, started volunteering and took up weapon in their arms to defend the country, their cities and streets. Thousands of destroyed houses, thousands of ruined live. Life that changes completely in one night. The sound of sirens warning about danger from the sky has been heard in Ukrainian cities and on our streets since the first day of the war. Ukrainians have already gotten used to this sound, but actually it is a constant reminder that we live in a new world, unthinkable and dangerous.

Basement of a primary school in the Yahidne village which was occupied by Russian troops. 28 days more than 300 residents of the village spend in this basement without electricity, heating, fresh air and any normal conditions. People fainted without oxygen and even died. These deaths were recorded on the walls near the door. The names of those who died at the hands of the Russians and those who died due to difficult conditions were recorded on the walls of the room.
